Jean Childs Young Fellowship

Description:

The Jean Childs Young Fellowship was established in 2005 by Charles Loudermilk Sr. to provide financial support for Andrew Young School graduate students in honor of Andrew Young´s deceased wife, Jean Childs Young.  The fellowship may be used for tuition, books, room, board and other associated expenses incurred by graduate students.

The Andrew Young School will award up to $5,000 each year for two academic years for the Jean Childs Young Fellowships.  Recipients must be enrolled in a graduate degree program at the Andrew Young School, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and remain in good standing while receiving the fellowship.  Applicants will be evaluated on merit, need and how well their scholarship and/or professional life aligns with the legacy of Jean Childs Young.
