Tuition Classification (In-state or Out-of-state) for Tuition Payment Purposes
This exercise has been designed to provide an introduction to the Tuition Classification process and to give students an idea of whether they may be classified as an in-state or out-of-state resident for tuition payment purposes as outlined by the Board of Regents University System of Georgia. The responses and recommendations generated are estimates only and results are based solely on your interpretation of the questions. The validity of this tool depends on the accuracy of the information you enter.
The findings of this tool are not binding on the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, Secretary of Education, Georgia State University, or the State of Georgia.
The official determination of your tuition classification will be based on the State of Georgia’s requirements for in-state classification for tuition payment purposes, information provided on the admissions application, and documents submitted to support in-state classification.
